@matthew: squeaky voices, alas, run in the family. I only hope he grows out of it in a few years: I can personally attest to the fact that it ceases to be cute after a while.
Ruth--I enjoy reading your blogs. Thanks for the perspective. I'm going to have to look up the C.Miller Xmas favorites. They sound sentimental enough for even me! I hope that the job and new apartment continue to go well enough. Weekends are dangerous for teachers, too. BEing prepared for Monday is always a Friday goal; however, I can hardly make myself stay late enough to accomplish that one!
